
Heleen Riper
Heleen Riper is a PhD of eMental-Health and works in the Department of Clinical Psychology of the University of Amsterdam (Vrije University, Amsterdam, Netherlands). She also collaborates in GGZ inGeest in Amsterdam, namely at the Department of Investigation of eMental-Health at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany.
Heleen Riper focuses on research under development interventions in eMental-Health for the most common psychological disorders and substance abuse, as well as the evaluation of their practical applicability and impact of eMental-Health in terms of national and international health policies. Moreover, her research activities focus on the innovative use of mobile health, social media and blended care for prevention and treatment of the most common psychological disorders.
Heleen Riper has published over than 80 articles reviewed by national and international peer review and published book chapters in eMental-Health domain. In 2013, she (co)founded the Journal of Internet Interventions, published by Elsevier, and became President of the International Society for Research on Internet Interventions.
